The Gerontology Center fosters programs of research, education, and service that address change in structure, behavior and function over the course of life. The Center develops and sustains externally funded initiatives for research and training, promotes aging-related activities within established departments, encourages interdisciplinary collaboration among university faculty and staff interested in the study of aging and assists professionals in the State of Kansas in meeting the needs of its aging citizens.
